The beautiful and attractive Camping Eigernordwand is situated in a quiet and sunny location, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face, 4 minutes by car from the village centre, 5 minutes on foot or by ski (winter) to the Grindelwald Grund-Kleine Scheidegg-Jungfraujoch railway station and to the GRINDELWALD TERMINAL, the most modern terminal in the Alps.
The ultra-modern terminal, with a direct railway connection to Grindelwald and Interlaken, is the heart of the V-Cableway. The Eiger Express tricable gondola to the Eiger Glacier and the 10-passenger gondola to Männlichen depart from here. The terminal also has a shopping centre with top international brands and quality Swiss products as well as a sports shop.
In summer, the campsite is an ideal starting point for walks, hikes and mountain tours in the unique landscape of Grindelwald. In winter, ski pistes, toboggan runs and cross-country ski trails lead directly to the campsite.
Infrastructure
During the summer season, we offer our guests various products needed for life on the campsite at our reception. The local baker also supplies us with freshly baked croissants, bread rolls and bread every morning. We are happy to take your bread order at the kiosk.
Our modern sanitary facilities were completely remodelled for you in 2023. You will find heated, modern and wheelchair-accessible toilets and showers with hot water. For families there is a comfortable “bathroom” with shower, WC, changing table and plenty of space.

FAQ's
In summer you can buy bread, rolls, croissants, milk and drinks from the in-house kiosk. Restaurants and shopping facilities can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
Both the terminal and Grindelwald Grund railway station are a 10-minute walk away. From there you will find connections to Grindelwald Dorf, Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg, Jungfraujoch and Interlaken Ost.
No, pets (including dogs) are generally not allowed at Camping Eigernordwand.
Yes, we have a laundry room with two washing machines and a tumble dryer. Tokens can be purchased at the reception.
We will be happy to answer your questions personally on site. You can also find out more at any time at www.grindelwald.ch or www.jungfrau.ch.
We recommend using the app from Meteo Switzerland (MeteoSwiss). There are also various webcams in the region that show the current weather situation.
We do not accept reservations during the summer season. We recommend arriving around lunchtime, as we follow the “first come, first serve” principle.
In winter, a reservation is mandatory; it is possible to arrive by minibus or camper van. Caravans are not permitted.
Yes, our campsite is located directly on the ski piste. Seasonal pitches (end of October to end of April) are available on request.
